We should remind ourself from time to time, makesure we not only thank HIM when we are in Good condition but also in Bad too. Pray hard when we are facing our chanllenges, ask God to strengthern us with His wisdom and peace! Remember, He is always by our side, seek for HIM all the time!!!!!

Throughout my schooling days in LimKokWing, I was not sure that it is the right choice for me. So, I quit. For 6 months, I didn't go to a college but with God's blessings and prayers from my family, I finally got into SEGi College. If not for the encouragement and prayers from my parents and relatives, I would not have decided on my way in life. I thank God for that.

Thank God for His protection during my five days of journey in KL. I prayed to God everyday for His protection and His love throughout the particular day before I went out. And with His blessings, i enjoyed my holiday in KL smoothly and happily.

Fruit of Holy Spirit vs Human Desires

There is 9 characters in one Holy Spirit Fruit which known as Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control (Gal 5:22). 9 of these characters never ever can mix up with the human desires/ bodily passion such as hypocrites, bad-tempered, envy, selfish and so on. And there is no a so-called "neutral choice" between the fruit of Holy Spirit and the human desires. People either choose one Holy Spirit or follow their own desires. But they have to know that their desires always lead them to sin and death while Holy Spirit which also the Spirit from God give eternal life.

There are two most important S.K.I.L.L.S in "gaining" more and more of the characters of the Holy Spirit:-

1) Crucified
In Romans 6:6= for we "know" that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away that we should no longer be slaves to sin. this verse show that we MUST KNOW that the old life of us has no longer stay but it has been crucified! Whereby in verse 11= In the same way, "count" yourselves dead to sin but "alive" to God in Jesus Christ. Meaning, we not only KNOW about the old us also need to COUNT the old us. In short, KNOWING and COUNTING that our old life is dead and the new life is come from Jesus Christ which we can do it through Holy Spirit, the Helper in leading us closer to God.

2) Obey
NEVER let the OLD LIFE come and take control in our life once again after it has been crucified. and Be willingly to GIVE/ COMMIT our new life to God..

The word of God

James 1: 22 - Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. v. 23 - Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror. v. 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. v. 25 But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does.

Christian can be the most deceived people in the world. The reason is not because we don’t know the word or what God wants from us. We listen to the preaching of the word and the Holy Spirit also speaks and confirms the word in our heart. We respond to the altar call.

The problem is we did not continue to do what we had responded at the altar. We make up a lot of excuses as well as taking pride in our disobedience to God’s word. We think just because we acknowledged our failure to obey God, we are being honest. We think that makes it alright and we have no desire to submit to God’s word by obedience either.

The word of God tells us that we are deceiving ourselves. We know it too because we know in our spirits, we are bound. We keep deceiving ourselves by the services we do in Church and we are faithful every Sunday in Church attendance. We listen to the word and we know more and more about the word of God. The cycle of activities is repeated every week and we deceive ourselves more and more.

The preaching gets hotter when God has to speak louder and louder because we are not listening. We become offended by the servant of God who faithfully discharge the word of God to us. We don’t like what we look like by looking at the mirror of God’s word. Instead of changing how we look by being obedient to God’s word, we dislike the person who is holding the mirror for us to see. How deceive can we be?

Are you seeing clearer how you really look like? Isn’t that the purpose of listening to God’s word?. You can always change your look in the mirror by obeying the word that gives you freedom and brings blessing to you. It will really change you on the inside with the peace, joy and love of God.
